Paw & Sage publishes practical cat care content designed to be calm, useful, and easy to act on.

Who writes the content

The site is written and edited by Pascal Misoph. Articles are based on a combination of published veterinary and feline welfare guidance, product research, and real world cat owner experience.

How we research articles

We prioritize veterinary organizations, feline welfare groups, university resources, and manufacturer documentation when it is relevant. Where a topic is experience based or product specific, we say so plainly rather than presenting it as settled science.

How we handle product recommendations

Product recommendations are chosen for fit, practicality, and value. Some links are affiliate links, but affiliate relationships do not determine which products we recommend. If a claim is based on product specs, we rely on the manufacturer. If a claim is based on our judgment, we present it as judgment.

How we update content

We update articles when factual details change, when better supporting sources become available, or when internal links and product recommendations need revision. When a page has been materially revised, the updated date should reflect that change.

Medical and behavioral guidance

Paw & Sage is not a substitute for veterinary care. We aim to help owners notice patterns, understand common behavior, and know when a concern has crossed the line into something that needs a vet.

Corrections

If you notice something inaccurate, outdated, or unclear, email hello@pawandsage.com. We would rather correct a page quickly than leave a weak claim in place.
